CENTERSTAGE presents the first Play Lab of the 2012-13 Season, Way to Curaçao by Chiori Miyagawa, November 30 through December 2. Gavin Witt directs.

The Guthrie Theater today announced complete casting for its presentation of Yale Repertory Theatre's production of The Servant of Two Masters. Adapted by Constance Congdon from a translation of Carlo Goldoni by Christina Sibul, this comedy features Steven Epp (Guthrie: A Christmas Carol, The Caretaker; Theatre de la Jeune Lune: actor, writer, director, co-artistic director 1983-2008) as the wily servant Truffaldino and Guthrie favorite Sarah Agnew (Guthrie: Time Stands Still, The 39 Steps; Theatre de la Jeune Lune company member 1995-2001) as the strong-willed Beatrice in the story of a servant scheming to fill his pockets and his stomach by serving two masters at once.

The Colony Theatre previously announced that it has achieved the first goal of its emergency "Save the Colony" campaign by raising $49,000 in ten days so that it can open THE MORINI STRAD as scheduled tonight, November 17th. However, the award-winning theatre company still must raise $500,000 by year's end to continue serving the region.

Unfiltered 2012, the Ensemble Studio Theatre/Youngblood's under-30, 2012 Obie Award-winning playwright incubator that has produced talents such as Annie Baker, Amy Herzog, Jon Kern, Lucy Alibar, and Robert Askins, has new dates. Unfiltered 2012 opens tonight, November 16, at 7:00pm and now runs through January 11 at Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST), 549 West 52nd Street. (Original dates were November 9 through December 7.)

The Huntington's production of Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL opens tonight, November 14 at 7pm, Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre. The production is directed by Maria Aitken. The cast includes Alan Cox, Mark H. Dold, Gretchen Egolf, and Luis Negrón. Check out production photos inside!

The Vineyard Theatre continues its series of one-night-only readings of notable plays from its acclaimed history in celebration of the company's 30th Anniversary. The next two readings will be PTERODACTYLS by Nicky Silver, which will be performed Monday, December 10, 2012 at 7 PM; and A BOY AND HIS SOUL, written and performed by Colman Domingo, which will be performed on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 7 PM. Both readings will be performed at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St., between Irving Place and Union Square East). Premieres Artistic Director Paulette Haupt has announced that the company will present Inner Voices, an evening of three one-act solo musicals beginning tonight, November 10 at 8pm, at 30th Street Theater, 259 West 30th Street. The opening is scheduled for Sunday, November 18 at 3pm.

The Dramatists Guild Fund (DGF) is providing more than $40,000 in emergency recovery grants to theaters affected by Superstorm Sandy. Theaters in downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and New Jersey will receive grants to help them rebuild and move on with their seasons.

Making Books Sing (MBS), the critically acclaimed New York-based non-profit that promotes children's literacy and social development through professional Theater Productions and arts-in-education programs will, in conjunction with The Louis Armstrong House Museum and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College presents the world-premiere, Off-Broadway musical Louis Armstrong: JAZZ AMBASSADOR with book by Myla Churchill (MBS's "A Band of Angels") and featuring music made famous by Louis Armstong.
