Kate Miller-Heidke And Ella Hooper Reveal Songs For 'Eurovision – Australia Decides'

With all ten acts now confirmed for the first ever national selection show Eurovision - Australia Decides, SBS and production partner Blink TV have announced two more songs. Released today, Kate Miller-Heidke co-wrote Zero Gravity with her partner and music collaborator Keir Nuttall, while Australian rock legend Ella Hooper's song Data Dust was written by 24-year-old composer Alice Chance.

Joe's Pub At The Public Theater Announces 2019 Class Of JOE'S PUB WORKING GROUP

Joe's Pub, a program and venue of The Public Theater, announces the new class of Joe's Pub Working Group (JPWG), the venue's artist development program dedicated to enhancing the career sustainability and growth of performing artists. Entering its fifth year, JPWG welcomes five artists performer and songwriter Migguel Anggelo, composter and vocalist Trevor Bachman, comedian and performance artist Becca Blackwell, jazz musician and composer Yacine Boulares, and singer-songwriter Treya Lam as the core group that represents the diversity and scope of the nightly programming at Joe's Pub.

Savannah College Of Art And Design Announces Lineup For 2019 SCAD ATVfest

Today, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the initial line-up for the 2019 SCAD aTVfest, Atlanta's only festival dedicated to television. Now in its seventh year, the university's annual signature event celebrating the television industry will be held at SCADshow on February 7 - 9, 2019. Entertainment Weekly (EW) will serve as the first ever Official Media Partner for SCAD aTVfest.

86 Artists Awarded Spring MacDowell Colony Fellowships

The MacDowell Colony has awarded fellowships to 86 artists from 18 states and nine countries. Fellows will arrive from Texas, Maine, and Montana, and from as far as Chile, Australia, China, and Israel. They are working in seven disciplines, and 29 percent identify as culturally diverse. The fellowships are for upcoming late winter and spring residencies at one of the nation's leading contemporary arts organizations. 

Sam Fender Reveals New Single PLAY GOD, Plus Announces North American Tour Dates

In follow up to his 2018 debut EP Dead Boys, BRITs Critics' Choice Winner Sam Fender has announced details of a new single 'Play God' out now through his new US label home, Interscope. To coincide with its launch, a new Spring 2019 headline tour has been announced alongside the song's stunning music video directed by Vincent Haycock, who also directed the video for 'Dead Boys'. With the UK tour having sold out almost instantly, Fender's first ever North American headline dates include stops in Los Angeles, New York and SXSW. Fender's debut album is available for pre-order now, with release date to be announced in the coming months.

Richard Eyre Directs Penelope Wilton In Revival Of David Hare's THE BAY AT NICE

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces a major revival of David Hare's The Bay at Nice. Richard Eyre directs Martin Hutson, Ophelia Lovibond, David Rintoul and Penelope Wilton. The production opens on 19 March, with previews from 14 March, and runs until 4 May. Tickets go on sale to supporters of the Menier on 21 January, with public booking opening at 9am on 28 January.

Dim Mak's Greatest Hits 2018: Remixes compiles the Los Angeles label's best remixed tracks from the past twelve months. Highlighted by an exclusive, previously unreleased remix of Max Styler's 'Feel It' from the bossman Steve Aoki himself, the package also features an eclectic set of reworks from artists like GANZ, Boehm, Electric Mantis, Vincent, T-Mass, Taiki Nulight and many more.

Stage Door Theatre Presents THE PRODUCERS

Mel Brooks' musical comedy The Producers won a record-setting 12 Tonys in 2001, including Best Musical - the most in the awards' history. It also set the standard for outrageous, in-your-face, politically incorrect humor. Stage Door Theatre will present what Variety's Charles Isherwood called 'a rip-roaring, gut-busting, rib-tickling, knee-slapping, aisle-rolling … good time' musical at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC). The show will open on January 18th and run through February 10th.

Chester Theatre Company's 30th Season Features Four New England Premieres

Producing Artistic Director Daniel Elihu Kramer has chosen to begin the season with the New York Drama Critics' Circle Best Play Winner The Night Alive, written by Irish playwright Conor McPherson, as a tribute to CTC's co-founder, Vincent Dowling, who served as Artistic Director of Dublin's Abbey Theatre in the late 80s, and who helmed CTC from its founding until 1995.

Nashville-based Songstress Eulene Shares Electro-pop Single 'Momma'

New York-born, Nashville-based electro-pop songstress, Eulene, has released her debut single, 'Momma' via GoGoLove Records on 16 November 2018. 'Momma' has been taken from her highly anticipated upcoming self-titled EP which was mixed by Grammy-nominated Erik Madrid (ZAYN, Demi Lovato, Kehlani, Kiiara, 30 Seconds to Mars, Charli XCX, Tinashe, Kygo). 'Momma' was composed and produced by Eulene alongside prolific songwriter Angelo Petraglia who has worked extensively with global rock phenomenon Kings of Leon for which he wrote and produced many of their albums. Petraglia played an integral role in the formation of Kings of Leon's early sound, catapulting them into worldwide charts. He has since won a Grammy Award for Record of the Year, while also receiving a nomination as one of the songwriters for Trisha Yearwood's 'Believe Me Baby (I Lied)'.

OPERA America Announces 2019 Leadership Intensive Participants

Shakespeare Theatre Co Announces Casting For Adaptation VANITY FAIR

Following the success of her Sense and Sensibility at the Folger Theatre in 2016, Wall Street Journal's Playwright of the Year 2017 Kate Hamill, returns to D.C. with her adaptation of William Makepeace Thackeray's classic novel Vanity Fair. Hamill's vibrant and colorful tale about society's foibles is a co-production with San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Directed by Jessica Stone and featuring Rebekah Brockman as Becky Sharp, the production will run at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street, NW) from February 26 through March 31, 2019.
