Adapted by the B Street Theatre! The classic 1959 horror film starring Vincent Price is given a hilarious adaptation thats totally outrageous, totally terrifying and totally B Street.

Play Me Again Pianos, a nonprofit aspiring to make metro Atlanta more musical through 88 public piano installations, will cut the ribbon on its newest donated piano Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center. The event is free and open to the public, and anyone is encouraged to play the piano, named Vincent, after the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Fifty-nine individuals, arts organizations and advocates, small and large businesses and philanthropists from 19 communities statewide have been nominated for 2019 Governor's Arts Awards in eight categories.  Finalists in each category will be announced at an invitation-only Nominees Reception in February. FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "Rusty Magee: Revisited", a celebration of the life and music of Rusty Magee, the legendary cabaret staple of the 80s and 90s with one of the most distinct and creative musical voices of all time.

Casting is set for Matthew Bourne's "Cinderella" from New Adventures, which will be presented by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre February 5 through March 10, 2019. With direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne and music by Prokofiev, "Cinderella" will open on February 6 at 8 p.m.

The NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, announced today that Yoko Shioya, Artistic Director of the Japan Society, is the recipient of the 2019 Bessies Presenter Award for Outstanding Curating. The upcoming 29th annual The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival will present movies from around the world, opening with PAPA, a heart-warming movie about an adopted son searching for his biological parents, and featuring an all-star cast including Ann-Margret, Frankie Avalon, Mischa Barton, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, Vincent Pastore, David Proval, Eric Roberts and Paul Sorvino. 

 The 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) announced that the festival's opening night will be the screening of All is True directed by Kenneth Branagh on Friday, January 4.  The festival will close with Ladies in Black, directed by Bruce Beresford on Sunday, January 13. The Festival will screen 223 films from 78 countries, including 48 premieres (4 World, 13 North American and 31 U.S.) from January 3-14, 2019.  The line-up includes a focus on cinema from France, India and Mexico, Premieres, Talking Pictures, Book to Screen, Special Presentations, FLOS: Foreign Language Oscar Submissions, Gay!La, Local Spotlight, Modern Masters, True Stories, World Cinema Now, a 30-film retrospective of selections from past festivals (free screenings sponsored by Desert Care Network and National Endowment for the Arts), and more.
