INTAR (Eduardo Machado, Artistic Director/John McCormack, Executive Director) and New York University's Department of English and its Program in Dramatic Literature announced some of the cast members to celebrate the 80th birthday of playwright, director and teacher Maria Irene Fornés.

While those attending the first Broadway revival of 'A Little Night Music' may be lured in by the big names of such classic stage and screen actors as Angela Lansbury, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alexander Hanson, Broadway newcomer Ramona Mallory, who plays the role of Anne, may have one of the most interesting connections to the production. Mallory is the daughter of Victoria Mallory, the actress who created the role on Broadway in 1973.

ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's award-winning play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel is making its Off-Broadway premiere at Theatre at Saint Clement's. Previews began Saturday, November 14th. Produced by Kurt Peterson and Edmund Gaynes in association with The Peccadillo Theater Company, the show celebrated its Opening Night on Sunday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. The limited engagement of ZERO HOUR will continue through January 31st.

Teri Ralston's Broadway career may only consist of small roles in two musicals but those two musicals, as they say on the Brooklyn side of Shubert Alley, were cherce.  Her young soprano can be heard in scattered solo moments on the original Broadway cast albums of Company (as Jenny) and A Little Night Music (as Mrs. Nordstrom), but she's probably most known among musical theatre fans for her delicate and lovely performance of Stephen Schwartz's 'Chanson' in the original didn't-make-it-to-Broadway cast album of The Baker's Wife.

Premier Performing Arts, a non-profit professional theatre company producing in Westchester County, presented its inaugural fundraiser, Broadway Tonight with Alan Menken and Friends, at the Tarrytown Music Hall to an enthusiastic crowd.

Broadway veterans Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory will reunite for several upcoming performances in the fall of 2009. The duo, who first appeared together as star-crossed lovers in the 1968 Lincoln Center production of West Side Story, will perform together in the following upcoming concert presentations...

Eight-time Academy Award winning composer Alan Menken will be joined on stage by Broadway's John Treacy Egan (The Little Mermaid, The Producers), Penny Fuller (Dividing the Estate), Victoria Mallory (A Little Night Music, Follies) and Kurt Peterson (Follies, Dear World) in Broadway Tonight on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Tarrytown Music Hall, 13 Main St, Tarrytown, NY.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd St.) presents some of the best music in town as it announces its next production, Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas in Wales, directed by Charlotte Moore with traditional and original music. Previews begin Wednesday, December 3,2008. The official opening will be on Sunday, December 7, 2008.

Ian Herman, an award-winning musical director and Broadway veteran, made his solo debut in 'Alone at Last' on Wednesday, July 30, at 8p.m. at the Zipper Factory, 336 W. 37th St., in New York City. Herman, whose Broadway credits include 'Grease' and 'Swing!,' performed a concert of his original pop, blues, jazz, classical and Latin pieces.

Teri Ralston returns to New York and celebrates the New Year with 'Teri Ralston, Home Again' for two performances at the Metropolitan Room, Monday, January 7, 2008 at 7PM and Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 7PM.

After Tony in West Side Story, Dear World, and Follies, Kurt Peterson left the world of performing. Now he's back producing Stephen Schwartz's Captain Louie....
