Today, past winners Denise Gough and Matt Henry announced the nominations for the Olivier Awards 2017 with Mastercard, the most prestigious event in the UK's theatrical calendar. The 2017 awards are set to be the biggest yet, as they make their debut at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 9 April.

Set against a backdrop of Manhattan decadence and 1920's excess, The Wild Party tells the story of Queenie and Burrs, a Vaudeville showgirl and a Vaudeville clown whose relationship is marked by vicious behaviour and recklessness. In an attempt to salvage their toxic union, they decide to throw a party to end all parties.

Following a brief Off-Broadway foray in 2013, Murder Ballad makes its UK premiere at the Arts Theatre featuring an all-star cast of seasoned musical theatre performers. It is a 90-minute, sung-through rock musical with dangerous intentions.

An all-star cast will bring MURDER BALLAD across the pond later this year.

Victoria Hamilton-Barritt garnered fabulous reviews last year as she teetered about on heels, heavily pregnant, as Daniela in the Olivier-nominated 'In The Heights'. Now a new mum, she's returning to the stage as the Narrator in 'Murder Ballad' - starring Kerry Ellis.

According to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt will join Kerry Ellis in the Sam Yates-helmed UK premiere of MURDER BALLAD at the Arts Theatre this autumn. Performances are scheduled to run 29th September - 29th October 2016.

Nathan Amzi will return to In The Heights for a limited two-week run, playing Piragua Guy from Monday 21 December 2015 to Sunday 3 January 2016. Nathan originated the role in the London production when it premiered at Southwark Playhouse in 2014. In The Heights recently extended its run at King's Cross Theatre for a second time, now booking for an additional 3 months until Sunday 10 April 2016.

It's been a busy few weeks for David Bedella, who's celebrating his birthday amidst rehearsals for In The Heights, returning to London very soon at the King's Cross Theatre.
