This brings back to memory the prologue from Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, “Two households, both alike in dignity, In fair Verona, where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean…” Now 28 years later this has very much become, “…the two-hour traffic of our stage.”
