The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) presentstheir Thirteenth Annual Season AWARDS CEREMONY on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 7pm at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 W. 46th Street, NYC. Tickets are $15 and are available now at www.midtownfestival.org or by phone at 866-811-4111. Each paid admission includes tickets redeemable for a refreshment comprising beer, wine, or soft drinks. Doors open at 7; awards begin at 8.

After a week of strong previews, Eric Rosen's electrifying new production of Kansas City native John Kander and Fred Ebb's Broadway classic Cabaret is set to open tomorrow, Friday, March 25, at Kansas City Repertory Theatre. This year, the Rep celebrates its 30th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol by refurbishing its iconic set and introducing exciting new elements to the show, which is directed by 29-year-old Kyle Hatley. A Christmas Carol runs November 19-December 26 at Spencer Theatre on the UMKC campus, and is produced in partnership with UMKC Theatre.

Unicorn Theatre will present the world premiere of Lia Romeo's new comedy, Green Whales, set to run on The Jerome Stage March 5th-28th. The play's central character, Karen, suffers from Turner's Syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes her to look like a teenager.
