In its first production following a hit Off-Broadway run, Jesse Eisenberg's THE REVISIONIST will receive its West Coast debut at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in a new production directed by Robin Larsen. Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning star of August: Osage County Deanna Dunagan, Seamus Mulcahy and Ilia Volok. Previews begin in the Lovelace Studio Theater on Tuesday, March 29. Opening Night is Friday, April 1.

A rare revival of Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams will run for a limited engagement, April 23-May 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church, one of the oldest buildings in Greenwich Village. Directed by Austin Pendleton, the production features a 16-person cast lead by Irene Glezos, Thomas Beaudoin and Beth Bartley. Williams's modern version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice opened on Broadway in 1957 and was revived in 1989 in a celebrated production directed by Sir Peter Hall and starring Vanessa Redgrave. It has rarely, if ever, been produced in New York since.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company welcomes acclaimed film and television star Claire Danes as the guest of honor at the annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraising luncheon today, February 4, 2016 at 12 noon. The luncheon features an in-depth conversation with Claire Danes about her incredible career and impact as a leading woman in the arts.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series will soon present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the third episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' Frank's very special guest will be Megan Hilty, star of the current Broadway hit, 'Noises Off.' The event will be taped in front of a live audience on Monday, February 22 at 7pm.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts will honor Sir Sidney Poitier with the Fellowship at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, February 14th.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that WHAT HAPPENED WHEN, a workshop production written and directed by Daniel Talbott, will play for one week begining tonight, December 15, at 7pm. Produced in association with {Your Name Here}, the workshop will play Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place).

The event will be taped in front of a live audience on Monday, January 11 at 7pm, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hitHamilton. Groff originated the role of Melchoir Gabor in the stage musical, Spring Awakening, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical in 2007. He continued his rise to fame during the first season of Glee, as Jesse St. James, a role he reprised in the second and third seasons of the show, and recently starred on the HBO series 'Looking.'
