Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre has assembled a team of more than 100 world-class artists, including popular Pittsburgh actors Helena Ruoti and Martin Giles, and New Yorkers Sam Tsoutsouvas and Sam Redford. Former Pittsburgh residents returning to work with PICT this season include designer Pei-Chi Su, actors Doug Rees, Kate Young, Alex Cole, Jarid Faubel, and Meghan Heimbecker, and director Jeffrey M. The Metropolitan Opera celebrates its 125th anniversary year with a unique gala performance on March 15, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., featuring Met stars in recreations of historic classic productions and high points in the company's past. Music Director James Levine conducts the evening of 26 staged scenes that, with the use of projections, and scenic and costume recreations, will evoke the Met's illustrious history.

Anne Berlin (Book & Lyrics) and Andy Cohen's (Music) 'POCKET CHANGE', will debut at The Shortened Attention Musical Festival this weekend as part of The Shortened Attention Span Musical Festival.
'POCKET CHANGE' is a one act that pokes fun of the current financial crises as told through historical coinage. The story is told through the perspective of three coins, and the historical personas they reflect. A JFK half dollar coin, a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin and a Sacajawea dollar coin find out they have just been devalued and hilarity ensues.
