Two Cookies is proud to present THE GREEN MANIFESTO as part of the 13th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. THE GREEN MANIFESTO began August 14th and has remaining performances the 19th and the 24th.

m2 productions (formerly the Miranda Theatre Company) presents two one acts, 'Martyrs' by renowned and celebrated playwright Mario Fratti and 'Unearthed' by playwright/director Valentina Fratti, honoring the city and it's special place in history.

South Coast Repertory?s Teen Players will present Hard Times, by Charles Dickens, adapted by Stephen Jeffreys, directed by Hisa Takakuwa in the Nicholas Studio May 23-24 and 29-31.

PICT celebrates the spirit of revolution with an extraordinary launch to celebrate its thirteenth season! Tom Stoppard's tremendous Tony and Olivier Award-winning play Rock ?n' Roll, inspiredby and dedicated to Václav Havel, serves as the centerpiece of a series which includes readings and paneldiscussions exploring Prague Spring & the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia.

EMERGING ARTISTS THEATRE, Paul Adams, Artistic Director, and Derek Jamison, Associate Artistic Director, present the Illuminating Artists- New Works Series, for three weeks at TADA Theatre. Performances begin Monday, April 27, 2009, and continue through Sunday, May 17, 2009.

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, a new eco-friendly festival designed to promote social and cultural awareness in the theatrical community, launches with 35 premieres in June 2009. The Metropolitan Opera celebrates its 125th anniversary year with a unique gala performance on March 15, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., featuring Met stars in recreations of historic classic productions and high points in the company's past. Music Director James Levine conducts the evening of 26 staged scenes that, with the use of projections, and scenic and costume recreations, will evoke the Met's illustrious history.

Anne Berlin (Book & Lyrics) and Andy Cohen's (Music) 'POCKET CHANGE', will debut at The Shortened Attention Musical Festival this weekend as part of The Shortened Attention Span Musical Festival. 'POCKET CHANGE' is a one act that pokes fun of the current financial crises as told through historical coinage. The story is told through the perspective of three coins, and the historical personas they reflect. A JFK half dollar coin, a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin and a Sacajawea dollar coin find out they have just been devalued and hilarity ensues.
