Anne Berlin (Book & Lyrics) and Andy Cohen's (Music) "POCKET CHANGE", will debut at The Shortened Attention Musical Festival this weekend as part of The Shortened Attention Span Musical Festival.

"POCKET CHANGE" is a one act that pokes fun of the current financial crises as told through historical coinage. The story is told through the perspective of three coins, and the historical personas they reflect. A JFK half dollar coin, a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin and a Sacajawea dollar coin find out they have just been devalued and hilarity ensues.

The writers are in the process of developing two more shorts to pair with "POCKET CHANGE" for an evening that are billed as historical comedies.

Anne Berlin and Andy Cohen are award winning songwriters whose musical "CHARLIE CHANG AND THE MYSTERIOUS SALAMI" won best musical at the Bad Musicals Festival '08 and whose musical "RIPCORDS" debuted last year at FringeNYC. They are in the process of developing several new musicals.

Valentina Fratti is the co founder and former artistic director of The Miranda Theatre Company and was the associate producer of Alfred Uhry's The Last Night of Ballyhoo, which won the Tony Award for Best Play.

"POCKET CHANGE" stars Kim Carpenter, Jessica Reiner-Harris and Tom Schubert and plays March 6, 7 and 8th at the intimate Players Theatre Loft and features a pop score. Tickets can be purchased at www.theatermania.com
