Following the success of their first partnership in 2014 with the song 'Time of Our Lives', premium sport network beIN SPORTS and renowned Grammy winning producer RedOne have decided to partner again as part of beIN SPORTS' coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia with the launch of his new song 'One World', featuring Adelina and Now United.

Pop recording artist, Emin Eminzada released his single/video 'Behind The Curtain'. The powerhouse ballad showcases the 21-year-old pianist and accomplished Opera singer who is from Baku, Azerbaijan. The powerful ballad showcases the classically trained artist and musician's baritone voice. 'Behind the Curtain' is produced and written by 2x Grammy nominated producer/singer-songwriter Drew 'Druski' Scott (Teyana Taylor, Zendaya, Nick Jonas, Jake Miller, Fantasia, Michelle Williams) and Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Carla Carter (Janet Jackson, Usher, Keyshia Cole, Carly Rae Jepsen, Mary J. Blige). The single was released on all digital platforms May 18, 2018.

Valley Performing Arts is presenting NIGHTFALL WITH EDGAR ALLEN POE, running from October 19 to November 4. 

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening of traditional and cutting-edge Portuguese folk music, featuring a double-bill of that country's most exciting musical acts: the venerable folk ensemble Brigada Victor Jara, and OMIRI, a cutting-edge project that mixes rural traditions with today's urban culture.

LA Opera Off Grand and The Broad Stage will present a double bill of one-act operas by Gordon Getty: Usher House and The Canterville Ghost. The operas will be performed on June 22 and 24 at The Broad Stage, located at 1310 11th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

On the heels of Illinois becoming the 37th state since 1972 to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment on Wednesdaynight, Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY), House sponsor of the Equal Rights Amendment (H.J. Res. 33), will host a shadow hearing on the need for an Equal Rights Amendment on Wednesday, June 6 from 3 – 5pm on Capitol Hill. Hearing witnesses will be actress and activist Alyssa Milano, Co-President of the ERA Coalition Carol Robles-Román, and Jessica Lenahan, plaintiff in Supreme Court case Castle Rock v. Gonzales. In April,Maloney sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte requesting a hearing on the ERA but has received no response. There has not been a Congressional hearing on the ERA since 1984.

Jack White released his third solo album Boarding House Reach via Third Man / XL Recordings. Cellist and BBC Young Musician 2016 winner, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, is to make his Edinburgh International Festival debut on Friday 17 August with a performance of Elgar's Cello Concerto.

From the brief synopsis I read, I knew that this performance would be unlike anything I had ever seen before. This was reinforced by the show's tag line, "Love and Other Things: a drama for flower, clay and bone". Well, I was right.

Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) today announced that actor Charles Browning will take over for Lance Coadie Williams in the world premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, which Soho Rep. Artistic Director Sarah Benson directs, and which the downtown Manhattan theater presents in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Williams is unable to continue.The production now runs at Soho Rep. June 2 - July 8, with opening now set for Sunday, June 17. 

Two TV commercials for Northrop Realty, A Long & Foster Company, were nominated for Emmy Awards by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Both commercials, created by Baltimore ad agency Kapowza, also received three Telly Awards each.

Today, Jill Barber released the video for 'Mercy,' the second single from her upcoming album Metaphora. It premiered at Billboard, and was shot by Juno Award-winning director Christopher Mills, whose work includes videos for Modest Mouse, Leonard Cohen, and Broken Social Scene.

The Dirty Blondes, the feminist theater company behind the critically acclaimed production of The American Play at Soho Playhouse, will celebrate their six years of creating theater with a special event called DRAG. United Talent Agency (UTA)  is pleased to announce its new UTA Artist Space home in Beverly Hills. UTA Artist Space will take over a former warehouse that has been redesigned with the internationally renowned artist and UTA client Ai Weiwei. The 4,000 square foot space was originally constructed in 1940 to house a diamond-tooling facility. As UTA Fine Arts grows into its third year, the space will provide an expansive new outpost for exhibitions and programming opportunities. The new UTA Artist Space, located within walking distance of UTA's Los Angeles headquarters, will open in July 2018. 

For the seventh consecutive year, singers from around the world will gather online to compete in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition (aka the 'SASSY' Awards) -- a 21st century version of the amateur night at the Apollo Theater that helped launch the career of a gifted teenager from Newark, Sarah 'Sassy' Vaughan, more than 75 years ago.
