Adelaide's Zep Boys Announce 2019 European Tour to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Debut Zeppelin Album

Led Zeppelin Masters, the all-Australian production featuring Adelaide's Zep Boys and the 36 piece The Black Dog Orchestra, have announced a major European tour for 2019. The Tour includes for the first time 8 dates in mainland Europe in March ahead of 10 April dates in the UK commencing in Liverpool's Philharmonic on 2 April 2019, and concluding at London's Eventim Apollo on 14 April. The tour marks 50 years since the release of Led Zeppelin's self-titled debut album and its follow-up, Led Zeppelin II.

Odyssey Opera Announces 2018-19 Season: Tribute To Charles Gounod And Operas Inspired By The Helen Of Troy Legend

Following Odyssey Opera's 2017-18 season dedicated to works inspired by Joan of Arc, Artistic and General Director Gil Rose today announced the company's 2018-19 season: a two-part journey with the first memorializing the 200th anniversary of French composer Charles Gounod's birth (as well as the 125th death anniversary), and the second inspired by one of the most enigmatic figures in ancient history, Helen of Troy. Celebrating its sixth season as one of the nation's most innovative opera companies, Odyssey Opera will present one U.S. premiere, four Boston premieres, three fully-staged productions, and two concert operas. Soho Rep. Extends Jackie Sibblies Drury's FAIRVIEW

In response to popular demand, Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) extends the world premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, directed by Sarah Benson, through July 22. In Fairview, the Frasier family (MaYaa Boateng, Charles Browning, Roslyn Ruff, and Heather Alicia Simms) is gearing up for Grandma's birthday, and Beverly needs this dinner to be perfect. But the silverware's wrong, the radio's on the fritz, her sister Jasmine is drinking, her husband Dayton isn't helping, her daughter Keisha is a typical teenager, and her brother Tyrone might not show up at all!

Jack White Announces September US Tour Dates

Iconic Buildings and Landmarks Across the U.S. to Shine Orange for Make Music Day

From Niagara Falls, Boston City Hall and the Capital Wheel, to Navy Pier, the U.S. Bank Tower and the Clock Tower Building, more than 35 iconic buildings and landmarks across the U.S. will turn orange in honor of Make Music Day, the annual global celebration of music occurring each June 21 and featuring over 4,500 free outdoor concerts, music lessons, jam sessions and other exciting music-making events in more than 80 U.S. cities. The all-day musical celebration on the summer solstice, which brings people of all styles, ages and skill levels together to make and enjoy music, has become a worldwide phenomenon observed by hundreds of millions of people in 800 cities in 120 countries. All lightings will take place in participating Make Music Day cities and occur on or one day before June 21.

Sound Theatre Company continues their 2018 season The Human Family: Towards a Radical Inclusion with a groundbreaking play reading series.  ILLUMINATE: Six Plays by Deaf and Disabled Playwrights invites Seattle area audiences and artists to experience diverse and authentic representation in these six imaginative and unique plays.  The readings are free and open to the public, and will be presented July 12 - 22 at the Center Theatre Black Box.  Each play will have at least one ASL interpreted performance.

As we approach TONY Awards weekend, we thought we'd catch up with Broadway veteran Baayork Lee, who last week proudly brought her National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) Chorus to the Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund, in Engelwood, NJ, on Thursday, May 31. The revered Fund's Home takes care of our own in the industry, whether actor, stagehand, usher, company manager, producer, etc. The Chorus loves going there. This was their second year and, next year, they hope to go twice a year, as it's such a satisfying exchange on both sides. Among the many residents of interest are Fran Liebergall, former assistant to Marvin Hamlisch and Billy Porter's Mom, Cloerinda Ford.

The season will begin in October 2018 with the world premiere production of CATCH AS CATCH CAN, written by Mia Chung (You For Me For You) and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll (Judy, Grounded). Performances begin on Monday, October 22 at the New Ohio Theatre for a limited run through Saturday, November 17.
