Alan Cumming, Theresa Rebeck & More Set for The Orchard Project 2015

The Exchange today announced the artists and companies who will participate in its 2015 Orchard Project summer residency program. Twenty-two artists and ensembles (listed below) were selected from a competitive field of nearly 500 applicants to develop their big, new ideas at the Orchard Project. This will be the eighth summer - and the first summer in Saratoga Springs, NY - for the Orchard Project, a laboratory program where theatre artists and companies come to innovate, develop, and refine new shows. Past productions developed at the Orchard Project have gone on to be performed around the globe for over 500,000 people and to win awards from TONYs to Obies to Oliviers.

TUTS Sets 2016-16 Student Matinee Season: RENT, OLIVER! & More

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) has announced their 2015/16 student matinee season, which will include performances of Rent, Scrooge, James and the Giant Peach and Oliver!.  As part of TUTS' Education and Community Engagement programs, student matinee performances are offered to schools throughout the Greater-Houston area.  Student matinees expose students to musical theatre, many of whom have never experienced it before, and provide an arts education.  Thanks to generous local supporters, these age-appropriate musicals are offered at discounted prices.

Anthony Bourdain Coming to State Theatre, 7/24

Anthony Bourdain, internationally renowned chef, author and Emmy-award winning television host, returns to the State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave., downtown Minneapolis) with his all new live show Close to the Bone. Heidi Duckler to Premiere CHINATOWN BLEU and BRUSH UP This Summer

As night falls on a non-descript office building in Chinatown, two shadowy figures of undetermined loyalty appear. Joined by musicians from four-piece French-Canadian band Claire Gignac et compagnie, they lead the audience on a clue-finding mission through the underbelly of the cavernous under-construction building, working to solve a mystery-through choreography-in Heidi Duckler's Chinatown Bleu in May.
