THE MIDTOWN MEN, four original cast members from the Broadway hit JERSEY BOYS (Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer) have come together and have formed their own music group which brings to life the music of the 60's in what's sure to be an energy packed show.

Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) celebrates 75 years of song-and-dance filled summer nights with Oliver! Drayton Arms Theatre today announces the cast for Oriel Theatre Company's production of Oliver Michell's new play The Tulip Tree. Antonio Ferrara directs Piers Hunt (Paul Verrell), Alexander Shenton (J. Enoch Powell), Helen Reuben (Barbara Kennedy) and Peter Wicks (Edward Campion). The play opens on Thursday 2 April, with previews from 31 March and runs until 25 April.

The 2013 production of Colin Thiele's Storm Boy, adapted for the stage by Tom Holloway in a co-production by Sydney Theatre Company (STC) with Perth's Barking Gecko Theatre Company, returns by popular demand to STC (opening 25 April) followed by an extensive tour to Wollongong, Geelong, Canberra, Mandurah and Perth. Directed by John Sheedy, the play follows Storm Boy as he roams the beautiful, savage landscape of wave-beaten shores and windswept dunes, picking up some unlikely friends along the way, among them the enigmatic Fingerbone Bill and a family of orphaned pelicans, including his favourite, Mr Percival.

On Saturday February 28th, I had the privilege to travel to Valparaiso, Indiana to see the third weekend of "Les Miserables" at the Memorial Opera House. This sung through musical based on the novel written by French Poet and Novelist, Victor Hugo, brought the house down with the amazing vocals, and set of this production. As popular as this musical is in the community theater world, Memorial Opera House put their own twist on it and made it a good production.
