Broadway dreams came true for sixty-four students from across the country when they perform alongside their Broadway idols in BDF's Circle of Dreams NYC Showcase at New World Stages. BDF teaches the next generation of musical theater performers how to kick start their career through unique, week-long performance intensives taught by Broadway's brightest stars and savvy industry insiders. Sixty-four exceptional students were nominated from each of the six cities BDF visited this summer to showcase their talents before an audience of the industry's top casting directors, agents and directors. The Broadway Dreams Foundation's 'Circle of Dreams NYC Showcase,' directed by Olivier Award-nominated director Stafford Arima, featured Broadway favorites Tituss Burgess, Joey Contreras, Craig D'Amico, Greg Graham, Deidre Goodwin, Tyler Hanes, Greg Haney, Luke Hawkins, Syke Mattox, Liz McCartney, Nancy Opel, Nicholas Rodriguez and Matthew Scott. Under the direction of Olivier Award-nominated director Stafford Arima and musical direction by Roberto Sinha, sixty-six rising stars will take center stage at the popular Off-Broadway venue home to the Tony Award-winning showsPeter and the Starcatcher and Avenue Q.

MARY POPPINS has been just that kind of story for children of all ages for years, and Maine State Music Theatre's current production of MARY POPPINS will warm your heart and lift your spirits.

Maine State Music Theatre brings the 55th season of professional musical theater to a close with Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's family favorite, Mary Poppins, which flies into the Pickard Theater August 7. Check out a first look at the cast below!

'Gypsy is a dream come true for me. I have been involved with Maine State Music Theatre since 1993, and to become part of the family is very special.' Raymond Marc Dumont's eyes sparkle and he glows with enthusiasm as he talks about his current involvement with the company as choreographer for their production of Gypsy which runs from July 17- August 3 at the Pickard Theatre in Brunswick, ME. Not only is this production a homecoming for the Maine-born and raised actor, director, and choreographer, but it his first gig as a member of SDC, the directors and choreographers union. 'To come in with a classic is an absolute thrill!'
