Broadway Legend Kristin Chenoweth came to Toronto this past week for one night only at Massey Hall, and the city is still buzzing about it. The special concert featured songs from many different genres, as well as little anecdotes from her life. She embraced Canadian culture with references to Tim Hortons, Holt Renfrew and more, and BWW is thrilled to bring its readers photos from the show.
On Sunday, June 17, Chenoweth will make her way to the State Theatre in Minneapolis, where no doubt all of her GCB fans will gather to worship at the altar of the Broadway star who is now looking for a new job on television. To all the BroadwayWorld-ers in Minneapolis - get yourself to Kristin's concerts pronto!
Kristin Chenoweth has been knocking 'em out on her first ever world tour which opened in Seattle on May 9th and has been touring North America to much fanfare ever since. Tonight, June 12, she takes the stage in Toronto and will head to Cleveland for a show tomorrow, June 13.
IN CONCERT KRISTIN CHENOWETH National Tour blew into the Boston Opera House on the heels of a wind and rain-driven thunder squall for one night only. Backed by an 11-piece orchestra and a trio of triple-threat performers, the diminutive star of stage, screen, and soundtrack put on a tight, well-paced production displaying her vocal versatility and comedic chops.
BroadwayWorld has seen and covered many concerts over the years, but never have we witnessed anything like what we saw on stage at City Center on Saturday night, June 2nd.
