Playwright Mart Crowley appeared on CBS Sunday Morning to talk about his current Broadway play The Boys in the Band.

Directed by Joe Mantello and produced by Ryan Murphy and David Stone, The Boys in the Band will play a strictly limited 15-week Broadway engagement at the Booth Theatre, beginning previews today, April 30. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Kolzak Award with a surprise appearance by Parsons' 'Boys In The Band' cast mates Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Robin De Jesus, Brian Hutchinson, Charlie Carver, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins. Band practice has begun! The cast of The Boys in the Band, including Andrew Rannells, Zachary Quinto, Jim Parsons, and Matt Bomer, shared a photo from the first day of rehearsal today.

The box office for the 50th Anniversary production of Mart Crowley's groundbreaking play, THE BOYS IN THE BAND,directed by two-time Tony Award Winner Joe Mantello, will open on Monday, March 26 at 10am at the Booth Theatre

Directed by Joe Mantello and produced by Ryan Murphy and David Stone, The Boys in the Band will play a strictly limited 15-week Broadway engagement at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street), beginning previews Monday, April 30, 2018 and officially opening on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

On Friday, June 20th, the brightest stars of televisions below the line talent in Daytime gathered at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles to honor their own at the 41st Daytime Creative Arts EMMY Awards. Although many of the individuals associated with nominated projects may not have been household names, there were many recognizable personalities such as Ron Howard, George Lucas, Leeza Gibbons, Jack Hanna and even Cookie Monster (David Rudman). On hand to disperse awards to over 50 categories were such noted performers as Melody Thomas Scott, George Chakiris, Ashley Tisdale, Lauralee Bell and June Lockhart, who has started her 81st year as a paid actress that included her role of Maria Ramirez on General Hospital for many years.
