Celebrate the festival of lights at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre with Fiddler on the Roof like you've never seen it before!

The Glimmerglass Festival announces further information about its 2015 season, which celebrates the Cooperstown-based company's 40th anniversary. In addition to four mainstage productions, the summer festival presents concerts, lectures, public master classes and more.

Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, a colorful, reimagined version of the classic Tony Award®-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof will hit the Theatre's stage December 2 - 21. Set in 1905 in the village of Anatevka in Tsarist, Russia, the story follows dairyman Tevye as he fights to maintain his family and heritage. Featuring timeless melodies and songs such as "Sunrise Sunset," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" and "If I Were a Rich Man," this beloved musical will capture your heart.

The Glimmerglass Festival has announced its 2015 Festival, which will celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. The 2015 Festival will feature Mozart's The Magic Flute, Verdi's Macbeth, Vivaldi's Cato in Utica and Bernstein's Candide. The productions will run in repertory in the Alice Busch Opera Theater on Otsego Lake in Cooperstown July 10 through August 23. These mainstage offerings will be complemented by lectures, concerts and other special events.

This year, for the first time, theatre lovers in Washington and around the world were able to watch the nomination announcements live via webcast at theatrewashington.org, Facebook, or on the Livestream. Ralph Ellison's 1952 novel has been called a masterpiece that changed the shape of American literature. Adapted into a play by Oren Jacoby, INVISIBLE MAN is having its New England premiere at Huntington Theatre Company with an epic performance by Teagle F. Bougere, under the direction of Christopher McElroen.

From these openings, 96 productions were 'Jeff Recommended,' which made them eligible for award nominations.
