The Rescignos: Merry Christmas to Paul, and to Paul a Good Night (feat. Robbie) a new holiday comedy show written by Paul Rescigno ('Mozart in the Jungle'; 'The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'), Robbie Rescigno (Bravo's 'Odd Mom Out'; 'The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'), and Mike Hadge (NEWSical: The Musical), will play the Duplex (61 Christopher Street) in NYC from December 6-8 and The Milton Theatre (110 Union Street) in Milton, DE on December 9.  

It has been reported that R&B superstar Jason Derulo has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS.

The British Independent Film Awards is delighted to announce today that Dame Judi Dench will be this year's recipient of the Richard Harris Award for outstanding contribution by an actor to British film, in recognition of her distinguished career in the UK and advocacy of the British film industry across the globe. The award will be presented to her at the 2018 awards ceremony to be held at Old Billingsgate Market on Sunday 2nd December.

Cameron Mackintosh announced today further dates for the UK and Ireland tour of his acclaimed production of the Boublil and Schonberg musical "LES MISERABLES". In addition to the previously announced dates, the musical will also play Plymouth Theatre Royal (11 June - 6 July 2019), Bradford Alhambra (9 July - 10 August 2019), Liverpool Empire (9 - 26 October 2019) and Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff (26 November 2019 - 4 January 2020). Jermyn Street Theatre announces today that Hannah Arterton will star in the stage premiere of Rose Heiney's Original Death Rabbit, the opening production in The PORTRAIT season. Hannah, who can currently be seen playing a leading role in Safe (Netflix/Canal+/Red Productions) and whose recent television credits include The Five (Sky/Red Productions) and Versailles (Canal+/BBC), will take the role of a young woman who becomes an internet sensation, just as the rest of her life falls apart.

On Friday night's episode of 'The Graham Norton Show,' Ian McKellen was a guest. During the interview, Norton brought up McKellen's upcoming role alongside Dame Judi Dench in the musical film adaptation of 'Cats.' This prompted McKellen to show off some of his musical talent.

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to Shea's Buffalo Theatre from February 5 to 10, 2019 as part of a multi-season North American tour. Presale tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 by using the password MEMORY. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018.

Today, in celebration of National Cat Day, producers announced casting for the North American tour of the first ever Broadway revival of CATS. The multi-year tour will launch at Providence Performing Arts Center on January 22, 2019 and play 24 cities in its first season.

Rubicon Theatre Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns today announced that London-based director Katharine Farmer will helm the company's next two productions, a two-piano version of South Pacific (Dec. 5 - 23, 2018) which concludes Rubicon's 20th Anniversary Season, and Heisenberg (Jan. 30 - Feb. 17, 2019), a co-production with Laguna Playhouse, where the show runs Mar. 27 to Apr. 14, 2019).

Broadway in Richmond at the Altria Theater opens its 2018-2019 season with a phenomenal bang. Boublil and Schonberg's Les Miserables returns to Richmond through October 28. Joining the previously announced Harriet Bunton (Hodel), Dermot Canavan (Lazar Wolf), Stewart Clarke (Perchik), Matt Corner (Fyedka), Joshua Gannon (Motel), Judy Kuhn (Golde), Louise Gold (Yente), Kirsty Maclaren (Chava), Andy Nyman (Tevye) and Molly Osborne (Tzeitel), are Miles Barrow, Sofia Bennett, Lottie Casserley, Lia Cohen, Shoshana Ezequiel, Fenton Gray, James Hameed, Matthew Hawksley, Matilda Hopkins, Adam Margilewski, Robert Maskell, Benny Maslov, Gaynor Miles, Ellie Mullane, Craig Pinder and Valentina Theodoulou to complete the company.
