When it comes to the best seat of the house at LES MISERABLES (LES MIS), which currently plays The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino, Technical Director Cameron Flint ('Wicked,' 'Once') says all the seats in the house are the best seats because the stage design was built for the apprecation of the audience from all angles. However, personally, Mr Flint will sit in the front row or middle rows of the Orchestra Center (VIP) or in the center of the Premium Gold (A Reserve) section.

In a major theatrical event marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present the US Premiere of Shakespeare's History plays in KING AND COUNTRY: SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT CYCLE OF KINGS. Following performances at the Barbican, and in China in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the plays are directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from Mar 24 through May 1, 2016.

Jeffrey Horowitz, Theatre for a New Audience Founding Artistic Director, has just announced an extension of PERICLES through Sunday, April 10 at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, due to wide acclaim and box office demand. The original London production of Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic novel LES MISERABLES (LES MIS), which was Messrs Schonberg and Boublil's first collaboration with theater producer Cameron Mackintosh, opened to very mixed reviews from the critics in 1985. But 'LES MIS has always been big for criticism,' says Meghan Lewit for The Atlantic. 'Bombast? Bathos? That's the point. The original production [which remains intact and continues to play at the Queen's Theatre in London until today] has endured because it gave audiences exactly what they wanted.'

Schikaneder - the turbulent love story behind the Magic will have its World Premiere in Vienna in the Raimund Theater on September 30.  Vienna Crowd favorite Mark Seibert will star.

Grassroots Shakespeare London have today announced the full cast for Twelfth Night, their first production as the resident company at Leicester Square Theatre.

Fallen Angel Theatre Company (Aedin Moloney, Producing Artistic Director) today announced their next production: the Off-Broadway Premiere of Sharman Macdonald's When I Was A Girl I Used To Scream and Shout, a bittersweet and bitingly funny examination of mother/daughter turmoil. Performances will begin April 14th and continues through May 8th at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre.

This summer, Sir Trevor Nunn returns to his home town of Ipswich to direct William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at the New Wolsey Theatre running from Thursday 16 June to Saturday 9 July 2016.

Grassroots Shakespeare have added an extra two weeks to their run of Twelfth Night at Leicester Square Theatre following popular demand. The show is part of the Shakespeare 400 celebrations.
