Seattle Public Theater (SPT) opens its 2012-2013 season with the Seattle Premiere of Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Tracy Letts' urban comedy-drama Superior Donuts running September 28-October 21, 2012 at the historic Bathhouse Theater on Green Lake.
Though the heat is still stifling in the Des Moines area, several area theater companies will be ringing in the fall theater season and kicking off their 2012-2013 season this month.
In honor of its 50th anniversary return to Broadway this fall there was be a special Box Office Opening Celebration at the Booth Theatre. Tickets for all preview performances were available for a special price of $50. The first 25 participants in line when the box office opens received a signed copy of the script by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee.
