The Fresh Voices showcase of original works returns to the Touchstone Theatre stage on June 1 and 2, 2018. The annual event is a celebration of new theatre, featuring original works-in-progress by Chloe Anne Madison, Touchstone's 2017-18 apprentice.
Lookingglass Theatre Company Mounts 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEAS

Lookingglass Theatre Company concludes its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas runs May 23 - August 19, 2018 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
13th Annual Young Playwrights' Festival & Gala Premieres New Work By Local Youth

Touchstone Theatre proudly presents the thirteenth year of its acclaimed Young Playwrights' Festival. This showcase of new plays written by local elementary, middle, and high school students performs on May 12th at Zoellner Arts Center's Baker Hall. The evening concludes with a post-show gala reception in the Lehigh University Black Box Theatre.

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), will close its 34th season with the New York Premiere of Sean Christopher Lewis's DOGS OF RWANDA, directed by Frances Hill and Peter Napolitano. This limited engagement at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street), begins performances on Friday, March 9, opens on Monday, March 12 and will run through Saturday, March 31, 2018.

After a successful kick-off last year, Touchstone Theatre presents its second concert fundraiser Jakopa's Punch Bowl on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 7-10pm at the Charles A. Brown Ice House. This Mardi Gras-themed evening of eclectic music by three local bands, New Orleans-style lite fare, and all-you-can-drink beer and wine supports upcoming original works at Touchstone, including the April premiere of Dictators for Dummies.
