Soho Rep has again extended the New York premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury's We Are Proud to Present a Presentation …, directed by Eric Ting, this time to December 16. Tickets to the American premiere of Nature Theater of Oklahoma's epic serial Life and Times: Episodes 1-4-a Soho Rep production presented by The Public Theater as a special engagement of the Under the Radar Festival 2013-are now on sale. And Soho Rep announces the production that will conclude its 2012-13 season: the world premiere of Lucas Hnath's A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, directed by Soho Rep Artistic Director Sarah Benson (April 30 - May 26, 2013).

Soho Rep has announced its fall-winter 2012-13 mainstage productions on the heels of its twice-extended, immensely acclaimed world premiere of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, adapted by Annie Baker and directed by Sam Gold. The 16th annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival enters its second week with seven Festival openings, including the U.S. premiere production of Montreal-based 7 Fingers' urban circus marvel Sequence 8. Week two also features the world premiere of idiosynCrazy productions' Private Places, by up-and-coming Philadelphia choreographer Jumatatu Poe; local favorite Brian Sanders' JUNK's The Gate Reopened; two New York companies, including Young Jean Lee's Theater Company with UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW and Elevator Repair Service with Arguendo; Hot Pepper, Air Conditioner, and the Farewell Speech from Japan-based theater troupe chelfitsch; and a one-night-only showing of the documentary film Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present.

Pig Iron Theatre Company is excited to announce the world premiere of ZERO COST HOUSE, a new work of performance created in collaboration between Pig Iron and Toshiki Okada, esteemed Japanese playwright and the director of chelfitsch, an acclaimed dance-theater ensemble.

The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe is expanding its organizational capacity with the hiring and promotion of several key staff members. New hires in the development, marketing and programming departments will help the Festival continue to commission, cultivate and present a diverse range of cutting-edge, contemporary performance and visual art works, as well as support the organization's move toward year-round programming.

From September 7 - 22, the annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival will celebrate its 16th year with 16 days of cutting-edge dance, theater, music, visual and interdisciplinary works by renowned artists from the U.S. and international arts scene. With six world premieres and two U.S. premieres, the Festival is a platform for daring and innovative artists, bringing leaders of the contemporary performing arts world to Philadelphia stages.

Peter Dinklage (GAME OF THRONES) emceed a sold-out benefit for The Play Company on Monday, April 30 at the American Airlines Theatre in Manhattan. Among those who attended CABARET GOURMET 2012 were Dinklage's wife Erica Schmidt, who directed Play Co's Obie Award-winning production of Jonas Khemiri's play INVASION!, along with producer Ruth Hendel (FELA!), The Play Company's Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Executive Producer Lauren Weigel. Off-Broadway's The Play Company will feature a cornucopia of food prepared by some of NYC's top chefs at its 9th annual benefit gala CABARET GOURMET 2012, set for tonight, April 30th at 7PM at the American Airlines Theatre Penthouse (227 West 42nd Street). Lauren Worsham, who most recently appeared as Amy in the City Center Encores! production of Where's Charley, will perform. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winner Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones") will serve as emcee for the event.
