This past week The Public Theater celerbrated their 2015 Summer Gala, which included a special performance of the free Shakespeare in the Park production of THE TEMPEST, featuring a cast that included Sam Waterston and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and directed by Michael Greif. The summer gala also honored Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014) and Anna Spitzer for their extraordinary support over several years. The 2015 Public Theater summer gala featured appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Laura Benanti, Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Alan Rickman, Jane Lynch and many more.
Theatre East's DEVIL AND THE DEEP Opens Tonight at Theater 3

Theatre East presents Devil and the Deep, a new musical reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street, NY 10036). Previews began Saturday, June 6 and the Opening is tonight, June 11th for the limited engagement.

THE 69TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, aired live from Radio City Music Hall, Sunday, June 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. After the ceremony is when the real fun started though, as most of the evening's celebrity guests headed to the annual Tonys Party at the Carlyle Hotel, hosted by O&M Co. Celebrity photographer Amy Arbus (daughter of acclaimed photographer Diane Arbus) stopped by the big event, where she captured some stunning portraits of guests in the TodayTix Tony Awards Photo Lounge.
