Cast Announced For OPERATION EPSILON Reading 7/27

The cast has been announced for the reading of Operation Epsilon, a new play by Alan Brody (Housewives of Manheim), directed by Andy Sandberg (Producer of Hair). This developmental reading is being presented by Ellen Berman (Enchanted April), and this presentation is supported by a grant from the Council of the Arts at MIT.

Abingdon Theatre Company Presents Academy Award-Winner Mayo Simon's Dark Comedy Mar. 6

Abingdon Theatre Company will begin previews of its next main stage production of the 2008?2009 season, GREEK HOLIDAY, a New York premiere in the June Havoc Theatre, written by Academy Award-winner Mayo Simon and directed by Stephen Hollis, March 6 to April 5, 2009. The official opening will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 7PM.

Harrison, Adkins & More To Appear In Berkshire 2009 Season

Berkshire Theatre Festival's 2009 casting consists of some old favorites and some new faces. Randy Harrison will return to star in 'Ghosts', and David Adkins, Colin Lane and Keira Naughton will appear in 'Faith Healer'. 'The Einstein Project' cast will consist of Tommy Schrider and James Barry, while 'Sick' will feature Greg Keller. Stephen DeRosa, David Garrison and more will also make an appearance this season.

Abingdon Theater Announces $10 Preview Tix For GREEK HOLIDAY

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced a special ticket price of $10 for preview performances of Academy Award-winner Mayo Simon's GREEK HOLIDAY, March 6 - March 17 (excepting the benefit performance on Wednesday, March 11). The production will run in Abingdon's June Havoc Theatre. The production is directed by Stephen Hollis. Under the hot blue sky of a Greek Island, a married couple makes one last try at reconciliation. He lives in despair with memories of a passionate romance with another woman. She lives in silent fury over being abandoned. Their witty repartee masks fantasies of revenge. Shocking and funny, this scintillating black comedy explores the ache of lost love.

'The Importance of Being Earnest' Opens at SCR Feb.15; Shook Directs

Warner Shook, director of South Coast Repertory's acclaimed productions of Born Yesterday and The Last Night of Ballyhoo, returns to SCR with style to stage Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest to run from February 8 through March 9 on the Segerstrom Stage. Low-priced previews are available February 8-14. Opening night is February 15.

Irish Rep to Premiere Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer May 5

The Irish Repertory Theater (132 West 22nd St.) will present Oliver Goldsmith's comedy SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER with previews beginning on Thursday May 5, 2005. Opening May 12th and running through June 26, 2005, Charlotte Moore will direct.
