Gingold Theatrical Group and Project Shaw celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Players Club with George Bernard Shaw scenes and snippets, plus Irish music and traditional corned-beef and cabbage dinner last night, March 17, 2010, as part of it's second annual St. Patrick's Day Gala. "TalkOut Mondays" (after performance) continues March 15th with Bill C Davis (playwright), Tim Viola (activist, BC/EFA) and Broadway Impact co-founders: Gavin Creel (star of "Hair"), Rory O'Malley & Jenny Kanelos at the critically acclaimed hit show "The Temperamentals" by Jon Marans at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Daryl Roth, Stacy Shane and Martian Entertainment are presenting the new American play. Thomas Jay Ryan (recently on Broadway "In The Next Room") portrays Harry Hay. Michael Urie (from TV's "Ugly Betty") is Rudi Gernreich. Arnie Burton (an original cast member of Broadway's "39 Steps") joins the cast in multiple roles. Rounding out the cast of five multiple talented actors are Matthew Schneck, and Sam Breslin Wright. The critically acclaimed hit show is directed by Jonathan Silverstein. The Set & Costume design is by Clint Ramos, lighting by Josh Bradford and Daniel Kluger is the sound designer. Gingold Theatrical Group made history as the first company to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw with its 44th PROJECT SHAW presentation, WHY SHE WOULD NOT -- the author's final and unfinished play -- on Monday, December 14 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller, who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw readings during its initial four-year series, directed the evening.
