Larry Kramer & Paul Rudnick Appear At 'Talkout Mondays', Begins 3/1

"TalkOut Mondays" (the after performance discussions) begins this coming March 1st with Larry Kramer & Paul Rudnick at the critically acclaimed hit show "The Temperamentals" by Jon Marans at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Daryl Roth, Stacy Shane and Martian Entertainment are presenting the new American play. Thomas Jay Ryan (recently on Broadway "In The Next Room") portrays Harry Hay. Michael Urie (from TV's "Ugly Betty") is Rudi Gernreich. Arnie Burton (an original cast member of Broadway's "39 Steps") joins the cast in multiple roles. Rounding out the cast of five multiple talented actors are Matthew Schneck, and Sam Breslin Wright. The critically acclaimed hit show is directed by Jonathan Silverstein. The Set & Costume design is by Clint Ramos, lighting by Josh Bradford and Daniel Kluger is the sound designer. The play is nominated for a GLAAD Award for Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway. (2 hrs 10 mins including intermission) www.thetemperamentals.com

Larry Kramer is a playwright ("The Normal Heart." "The Destiny of Me"), author, public health advocate and LGBT rights activist. He wrote the screenplay for the Academy Award nominated Women in Love. He co-founded the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC), which has become the worlds largest private organization to assist people living with AIDS. Paul M. Rudnick is an American playwright, screenwriter and novelist. His plays include I Hate Hamlet, Jeffrey, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Valhalla and The New Century. He also wrote for Premiere magazine under the pseudonym Libby Gelman-Waxner.

Mattachine Society & was fired in 1957 as an astrophysicist for being gay. A public apology to Frank from the Obama administration was made this year in a public ceremony).; Tom Kirdahy (playwright); Judith Light (actress); Jim McGreevey (former Governor of New Jersey, he was the first and, to date, the only openly gay state governor in United States history); Terrence McNally (award-winning playwright); Daryl Roth (producer 6 Pulitzer Prize winning plays); David Rothenberg (political activist, Fortune Society, WBAI Radio) * subject to change

Performances are: Monday; Thursday; Friday at 8:00 pm; Saturday at 2:00 pm & 8:00 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm. Ticket prices are: $65 and student tickets for $25 for the mezzanine.
