New comedy THE MICK will have a special premiere on Sunday, Jan. 1 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), following the NFL doubleheader on FOX.
FOX is announcing premiere dates for new series THE MICK (special premiere Jan. 1; time period premiere Jan. 3), STAR (special premiere Dec. 14; time period premiere Jan. 4), MY KITCHEN RULES (Jan. 12), 24: LEGACY (two-night event beginning Feb. 5, following SUPER BOWL LI, and continuing on Feb. 6) and APB (Feb. 6); and returning series BONES: THE FINAL CHAPTER (Jan. 3), SLEEPY HOLLOW (Jan. 6) and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR (Feb. 9). In addition, NEW GIRL moves to its new Tuesday night time period (8:00-8:31 PM ET/PT), beginning Jan. 3. HELL'S KITCHEN moves to Thursdays, beginningJan. 5, with two all-new back-to-back episodes (8:00-9:00/9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The series then premieres in its regular time period Jan. 12 (8:00-9:01). ROSEWOOD moves to its new Friday night time period (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), beginning Jan. 6.

BONES, the long-running comedic procedural beloved by millions of fans around the world, will return for a final farewell 12th season on FOX, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group. The 12-episode run will celebrate the inventive series and bring the storylines of Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Booth (David Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close, allowing the show's loyal fans to say goodbye to these indelible characters. When BONES ends its run, the series will have completed 246 original episodes, making it one of the longest running FOX series ever.

I would have loved to have been in the room when SLEEPY HOLLOW was first pitched to FOX execs. I can only imagine how that conversation went. 'So, picture this. It's Ichabod Crane, and it's demons, and it's Benjamin Franklin, and it's witchcraft, and it's cell phones.' If a modern-day, evil-battling Ichabod Crane sounds a little zany to you, you're not alone. But now, a season and a half later, this surprise hit is still delivering, culminating in an exciting, if a bit uneven, fall finale that had me and fellow recapper Courtney Henley talking.
