Chris Jones reports in the Chicago Tribune that the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise may be getting its pre-Broadway try-out in Chicago sometime in the very near future. White Noise director Sergio Trujillo tells the Tribune: 'I think we're going to get it up in Chicago...Soon.'

BroadwayWorld has learned that the Broadway-bound White Noise will receive a private industry reading on Friday, October 1, 2010. Today, December 14, 'White Noise' received 2 very private industry readings at S.I.R. Studios in Manhattan. As previously speculated, 'White Noise' is preparing for a spring move (no theatre mentioned). According to an official reading invite, Whoopi Goldberg will be joining producers Holly Way, Roy Miller, and Jay Strommen. No official announcement has been made.
