Hennepin Theatre Trust today announced the election of three new members to its Board of Trustees. They are Daniel Pierce Bergin, Senior Producer and Partnership Manager for Twin Cities Public Television, Mark Marjala, Senior Director of Human Resources at Best Buy, Co., Inc. in Minneapolis and Tom Vitt, a partner in Dorsey and Whitney's Trial Department and Co-Chair of the IP Litigation Practice Group.

Disney's The Lion King, celebrating nearly 15 years since its 1997 world premiere in Minneapolis, opens tonight, Friday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre for a limited engagement of five weeks through Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.

Today, Hennepin Theatre Trust announced the launch of Talk-It Hennepin, a free, four-part series of public conversations and workshops bringing together today's foremost thinkers and professionals in city planning and urban design with Hennepin Avenue stakeholders.
