Lady Gaga plans to write an entire new album of songs for the 'A Star is Born' soundtrack.

Showbiz 411 has reported that the lead of the upcoming A Star Is Born remake, Lady Gaga, may compose an entire album of new material for the movie.

Bradley Cooper has recently expressed interest in doing a sci-fi adventure film, now being set up for the coming winter months, putting his role in the remake into question.

According to Deadline, the upcoming remake of A Star is Born is officially happening. Lady Gaga will star alongside Bradley Cooper, who will also make his directorial debut with the project. Production is set to begin in early 2017.
