Pan Asian Repertory Theatre continues its 32nd season with NEWWORKS 09 March 16 - April 11 at the West End Theatre (263 W. 86th Street between Broadway & West End Avenue in the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, 2nd floor). This four week event of new plays, solo pieces and music features some of the brightest young talent in the Asian-American community and beyond.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre launches their 32nd season with SHOGUN MACBETH, an adaptation by John R. Briggs from the play by William Shakespeare. Directed by Ernest Abuba (Pacific Overtures, Yellow Fever) with Japanese movement by Sachiyo Ito (2008 Japan Foreign Minister's Commendation) and fight choreography by Michael G. Chin (Rashomon), SHOGUN MACBETH begins performances at the Julia Miles Theatre (424 W. 55th Street between 9th & 10th Aves) on November 4th with opening night set for November 12th at 7:00 p.m. For more information, please visit www.PanAsianRep.org.

Jessi D. Hill Awarded Second Denham Fellow Award

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation is proud to announce the recipient of the 2008 Denham Fellowship. The Denham Committee, comprised of board members Edie Cowan, Tisa Chang, Paul Lazarus, Sharon Ott and Mary Robinson, decided to name director Jessi D. Hill as the second Denham Fellow and award her $3,000 in support of her production of Angel Eaters at Flux Theatre Ensemble in New York, New York.

Written and directed by Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc and music by Tran Vuong Thach and Hai Phuong, The Missing Woman is performed in Vietnamese with English narration and plays April 2nd - April 12th at the West End Theater, 263 West 86th St. Opening night was Monday, April 7th at 7:30 PM.
