On Monday, September 13, The Actors Fund hosted a party for 'The Friends of The Lillian Booth Actors Home' at Gloria Crest, in Englewood, NJ, the former estate of film legend Gloria Swanson and now the home of the evening's hosts Jan and Edward Turen. The Turens welcomed Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell, and the evening's entertainment host Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth. Emmy and Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams, Tony Award-nominated actor/singer Tom Wopat and singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti and his band, among others performed. Last night, March 15, The Actor's Fund presented a one-night-only benefit performance of VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, a stage adaptation of the 1967 film, at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. The evening will benefit their programs and services.

ANDRÉA BURNS (May 4) began her career touring the opera houses of Europe as Maria in West Side Story. Since then she has appeared on Broadway as Daniela in In The Heights, as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and as Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty. She has appeared in concerts at Carnegie Hall and many other symphonic halls across the country.
