The Marcus Center has announced that Chicago's legendary comedy theatre The Second City will appear at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts-Vogel Hall at 123 East State St on December 6-16. The Second City's Dysfunctional Holiday Revue delivers a healthy dose of seasonal satire where neither holiday film classics, family gatherings nor Christmas carols are too sacred for a show that is the perfect alternative to the same old holiday shows.

BEST NIGHT EVER is the story of Logan and Chloe, a hot guy and girl who confidently gain access behind the velvet rope at an exclusive nightlife hotspot called 'Clear.' Once inside, they interact with some of NBCUniversal's hottest celebrities and eventually work their way into the club's most exclusive inner sanctum, 'The Source.'

Born in Highland Park, Mich., and raised in Detroit, Meadows studied television and radio broadcasting at Wayne State University before performing improvisational comedy at the Soup Kitchen Saloon. In 1985, Meadows relocated to Chicago, where he first joined ImprovOlympic, and then the legendary comedy troupe Second City. During his three-years at Second City, he wrote and starred in productions of The Gods Must Be Lazy, with Chris Farley; It Was Thirty Years Ago Today; and Flag Smoking Permitted in Lobby Only, gaining a loyal following with his sharp comedic talent. In 1991, Meadows achieved the dreams of comics nationwide when producer Lorne Michaels asked him to join SNL as a featured player. Nominated for an Emmy® as part of the show's writing team that same month, he later made the transition to cast member status two years afterward.

This October, the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize salutes Will Ferrell. The program airs Monday, October 31 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS stations nationwide. Taped at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on October 23, the 90-minute special features a star-studded cast of Ferrell's friends and colleagues including top entertainers Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day, Ed Asner, Jack Black, Matthew Broderick, Gwen Ifill, Adam McKay, Tim Meadows, Conan O'Brien, John C. Reilly, Paul Rudd, Andy Samberg, Molly Shannon and Ben Stiller. The evening pays tribute to the humor and accomplishments of the television icon and motion picture star.

Comedian Will Ferrell was awarded the nation's top humor prize Sunday night at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC. Ferrell is perhaps best known for his impersonation of President George W. Bush on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. He later took the role to Broadway in his successful run in YOU'RE WELCOME, AMERICA: A Final Night with George W. Bush.

A native of Chicago, IL, Sebastian Maniscalco grew up with comedy in his blood. After earning a degree in Corporate Organizational Communications from Northern Illinois University, Sebastian realized his passion for stand-up comedy and moved out to Los Angeles. While working as a waiter at a Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, Sebastian spent every free night performing at local clubs, bowling alleys and bars.
