The Robertson County Players will present Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Today, Oct. 20, 2016 through Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at the Springfield High School.

Freeform scares up some fun with its annual 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN celebration, featuring programming filled with thrills and chills as you count down to Halloween. The popular programming event, now in its 18th year, kicks off today, October 19 and concludes on Monday, October 31. It will feature the network television premiere of “R.L. Stine's Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls” and the Freeform premiere of “Spooky Buddies.” Plus, the perennial favorite “Hocus Pocus.”

Producer Stuart Thompson announced today that John Guare's critically acclaimed play Six Degrees of Separation will return to Broadway this spring in a revival starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train) as Ouisa and Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') as Flan. Trip Cullman (Significant Other, Punk Rock) will direct the production, which is set to open at the Barrymore Theatre in April 2017 and will run for 15 weeks only.

Thomas Dausgaard, principal conductor of the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, chief conductor designate of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and principal guest conductor of the Seattle Symphony, makes his Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra debut guest conducting the West Coast premiere of A Freak in Burbank, a romping homage to filmmaker Tim Burton by Swedish composer Albert Schnelzer, on Saturday, October 29, 8 pm, at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, and Sunday, October 30, 2016, 7 pm, at UCLA's Royce Hall. 

If you like your Halloween entertainment a little on the wacky-creepy side, you will love Broadway in Detroit's “A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER” now on stage at the beautiful Fisher Theatre. A musical about a serial killer could never be more funny. This show won four Tonys at the 68th Tony Awards in June 2014, including Best Musical. It is based on the 1907 novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal by Roy Horniman and its screen adaptation, the 1949 British film Kind Hearts and Coronets. Characters in the play are penned after real-life English aristocrats, primarily a frivolous British Prime Minister.

Casting has been announced for Park Theatre's new dark comedy Saving Jason, created by the two-time Olivier Award nominated writer of the West End/Broadway hits Glorious! and End of the Rainbow, Peter Quilter. Directed by Steven Dexter, the cast includes Jacques Miche, Tor Clark, Cory Peterson, William Oxborrow, Julie Armstrong and Paddy Navin. Saving Jason will play at Park90, from 2 November until 3 December 2016, with a press night on Monday 7 November, 7pm. 

Sony Classical proudly announces the release of The Girl On The Train (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring the music by Danny Elfman. The soundtrack will be available October 7. The movie will arrive in theatres the same day.

Producers of the critically acclaimed Tooting Arts Club's production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street announced today that former White House Executive Pastry Chef William 'Bill' Yosses will serve as the production's official pie maker throughout the New York run.

The legendary Gothic-suspense, supernatural series 'Dark Shadows' debuted in June of 1966 and became a cult sensation, attracting 20 million housewives and teenagers at its peak each afternoon with spooky tales and alluring characters including the vulnerable vampire Barnabas Collins, played by the late Jonathan Frid.
