Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that Alex Ko and Kate Hennig will join the cast of the 10-time Tony Award-winning Billy Elliot the Musical in the roles of ?Billy' and ?Mrs. Wilkinson,' respectively.

Broadway In Chicago, with Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment, announced today that Tommy Batchelor, Giuseppe Bausilio and Cesar Corrales will star as ?Billy' in the Chicago production of the 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Billy Elliot the Musical. Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that the 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Billy Elliot the Musical, featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry, will launch a U.S. national tour with an extended run in Chicago in the spring of 2010 before embarking on a multi-city tour. Performances will begin March 2010 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 West Randolph, Chicago). Additional cities, dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

Variety is reporting that 'Frost/Nixon' playwright and screenwriter Peter Morgan has signed on to the writing team for the upcoming James Bond 23.

Tony Award-nominated actor and theatre veteran, Colm Wilkinson stars on the SHOWTIME mini-series 'The Tudors' as Lord Thomas Darcy on April 12th at 9PM (EST).

The full list of nominations for the British Academy of Film and Television arts was announced this morning. FROST/NIXON received 6 nominations and DOUBT 3 amongst other theatre-related nominees. The awards will be given out on February 8, 2009 in London.

The Los Angeles Time reports that 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' 'The Dark Knight,' 'Frost/Nixon,' 'Milk' and 'Slumdog Millionaire' were nominated Monday for the Producers Guild of America's top award. Variety reports that Ron Howard's 'Frost/Nixon' won best-feature honors at the Las Vegas Film Critics Society's Sierra Awards. 'Frost/Nixon' star Frank Langella earned two trophies, winning for best actor and the William Holden Lifetime Achievement Award.
