Marvel Studios announces Marvel Studios' Expand Your Mind: An IMAX® 3D Exclusive First Look, featuring approximately 15 minutes of exclusive footage from the highly anticipated, action-packed “Doctor Strange.” The sneak peek will be showcased in over 115 theater locations across North America on October 10, 2016, at 7p.m.

The Museum of Modern Art's 2016 Film Benefit, presented by CHANEL, will honor Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks on November 15. Winner of the 1993 and 1994 Best Actor Oscars for Philadelphia (1993) and Forrest Gump (1994), Mr. Hanks has also been nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award on three other occasions, for his roles in Big (1989), Saving Private Ryan(1999), and Cast Away (2001). Later this year, Mr. Hanks will star in the highly anticipated films Inferno (2016) and Sully (2016). The Film Benefit will be highlighted by a gala dinner and a tribute recognizing Mr. Hanks's acclaimed work. MoMA will also pay tribute to Mr. Hanks with a film series of his work, November 8 to 14 in the Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters.

In an all-new interview with Vanity Fair, Mumolo explains how she received an email from Swinton, praising her work on the Bridesmaids script and asking her if she would have an interest in adapting Patrick Dennis's 1955 classic novel to the big screen.

Netflix has acquired global rights to Charlie McDowell's THE DISCOVERY, starring Rooney Mara (Carol), Robert Redford (Truth) and Jason Segel (The End of the Tour). The film will premiere on Netflix and in select theaters in the US in 2017.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere play Dry Powder by Sarah Burgess, directed by Thomas Kail. Part of Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season, this deliciously funny new drama about the people shaping, and skewing, the American economy has been extended a final week to Sunday, May 1, with an official press opening tonight, March 22. James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director of York Theater Company has announced that as part of its Developmental Reading Series, it will present Erik Ransom's 'More Than All the World' an epic musical inspired by Christopher Marlowe's 'Edward II' directed by Rachel Klein ('Around the World in 80 Days', 'The Anthem') with music direction and arrangements by Andy Peterson ('Atomic'). The reading will take place on March 15th at 2PM.

An all-star comedy with music set during the latter years of Hollywood's Golden Age, it stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, Frances McDormand, and Channing Tatum, playing a Gene Kelly/Fred Astaire-type song and dance man of the silver screen. Tatum, who previously had no experience with the style, got help from a pro- Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, The King and I). One would think that a movie like HAIL, CAESAR!, written and directed by two of America's favorite filmmakers, starring a veritable who's who of Hollywood heavyweights, and set in one of the most entertaining and romanticized eras in American history would be a sure fire hit. The first time that I saw the film's trailer, that's immediately what I thought. I just naturally assumed that it would be scheduled for a mid-December release, in time to scoop up the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical, and to be the kooky, critical darling that snatched an Oscars' Best Picture nod, a la THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL. Instead, it was released in the first week of February, one of the slowest movie-going times of the year, eons away from awards-consideration, and is easily the most disappointing movie that I've seen in quite a while.
