Previews Begin Tonight For WORSE THAN TIGERS At New Ohio Theatre

New Ohio Theatre and The Mill present the New York premiere of Mark Chrisler's WORSE THAN TIGERS, directed by Jaclyn Biskup. WORSE THAN TIGERS runs from August 24 - September 8, 2018 in a limited engagement at New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. Previews begin August 24 for an August 26 opening.

Narrative Feature NELLY to Receive Theatrical Release

NELLY, a narrative feature about the escort turned international literary star, which features the French-Canadian actress and Toronto International Film Festival Rising Star, Mylène Mackay (L'Age adulte, Endorphine) in the title role, will premiere theatrically in select U.S. theaters this September.

When Hippo Campus formed in 2013, their intentions were pure and simple. 'We were in high school and the main idea was, 'Let's start a band and make our friends dance,' Zach Sutton from the band recalls. 'There was no real context to what we were doing-it was just total creative joy.' 

PEAKY BLINDERS Moves to BBC One for Fifth Season

NNPN Welcomes Silk Road Rising, Company One, And City Theatre Company To The Core Membership

National New Play Network (NNPN), the country's alliance of professional theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, has added three new Core Members: Silk Road Rising (Chicago), Company One (Boston), and City Theatre Company (Pittsburgh). As of the date of this release, NNPN has 114 Members Theaters, comprised of 32 Cores and 82 Associates.

O.C. Premiere Of Sharr White's THE OTHER PLACE Begins 9/21

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is excited to announce the fifth show in its 20th Anniversary Season ... The Other Place. Written by Sharr White and directed by Matthew McCray, The Other Place will preview from September 21 through September 28; regular performances will begin September 29 and continue through October 21 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Fyda-Mar Stage.

La Jolla Playhouse Names Eric Keen-Louie Producing Director

La Jolla Playhouse announces the appointment of Eric Keen-Louie as Producing Director. Keen-Louie will take over the reins producing the Playhouse's subscription season from Associate Artistic Director Jaime Castañeda, who will be departing the Playhouse next month to pursue freelance directing projects for theatre and television in Los Angeles.

New York Youth Symphony Now Accepting Applications For Musical Theater Composition Program

Now entering its 56th season, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) is launching a Musical Theater Composition (MTC) program, to be led by newly-appointed director Anna K. Jacobs. 2CELLOS Announce New Album LET THERE BE CELLO
