Johnny Marr North American Tour Underway, Shares New Track JEOPARDY

Today, Johnny Marr has shared a new song, 'Jeopardy,' previously unavailable other than as a vinyl B-side, and is on DSPs today. He performs with his band for Seattle's esteemed KEXP today at Noon. Listen live at www.kexp.org. The Smiths' guitar legend and NME's 'God-Like Genius' award-winner is currently in the midst of a Fall US tour in support of his recently released album Call The Comet. Marr and his band have returned to North America post-album release for an extensive coast-to-coast run that includes Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Austin, Toronto and Boston, as well as Mexico City and more. What if God turned out to be a Puerto Rican steam bath attendant, assisted by a butler named Gottlieb? Renowned stand up comedian and actor Paul Rodriguez stars in a revival of Steambath, the 1970 off Broadway hit comedy by Bruce Jay Friedman that also became a PBS television special. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble artistic director Ron Sossi directs for an Oct. 20 opening at West L.A.'s Odyssey Theatre, where performances will continue through Dec. 16.

Fleet Foxes Announce FIRST COLLECTION 2006 - 2009

Fleet Foxes have announced a special limited-edition collection to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album, entitled First Collection 2006 – 2009, to be released by Nonesuch in Europe and Sub Pop for the rest of the world on November 9, 2018. The package features content spanning the early days of Fleet Foxes' career, including the self-titled full-length debut album on 12” vinyl, as well as the Sun Giant EP on 10” vinyl and the first vinyl releases of both the very limited-edition, previously only self-released The Fleet Foxes EP on 10” and B-sides & Rarities on 10”. See full tracklisting below. In addition to its musical offerings, the release will feature a 32-page booklet including show flyers, lyrics, and artwork from the period. The special edition will also be released on CD and on all digital platforms.

The Mercury Program to Reissue 'A Data Learn the Language'

On November 2nd, Lovitt Records will reissue The Mercury Program's third full-length A Data Learn the Language on 2xLP. Long out of print and extremely hard to find on wax, the record has been recut by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service and will be pressed on colored vinyl with a gatefold sleeve. To celebrate the release, the band will head out for two weeks worth of concert dates across the East coast. These shows will include two full sets — the first set consists of songs drawn from Chez Viking (2009) and New Myths (2016), followed by a second set featuring of A Data Learn the Language performed in it's entirety.

THIRTEEN's Series NATURE Returns to PBS

This fall, THIRTEEN's Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series Nature returns to PBS for its 37 th season, presenting new episodes Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on PBS beginning October 24 (check local listings) with Super Cats, A Nature Miniseries, which introduces wild cat behavior captured on film for the first time.
