Casting Complete For Starry DANCE A LITTLE CLOSER Concert

As previously announced, the acclaimed Second Act Series, which has presented an array of lesser-known musicals in concert, will celebrate the short-lived Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical Dance A Little Closer at New York's Green Room 42 on Monday, April 16th at 7:00pm.

As previously announced, the acclaimed Second Act Series, which has presented an array of lesser-known musicals in concert, will celebrate the short-lived Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical Dance A Little Closer at New York's Green Room 42 on Monday, April 16th at 7:00pm. The one-night-only concert reading will star Beautiful's Julia Knitel (Bye, Bye, Birdie), currently starring in A Letter to Harvey Milk as Cynthia Drama Desk Award-winner Ed Dixon (Georgie, Sunday In The Park With George, Les Miserables) in the role created by his lifelong friend and colleague George Rose. Joining them as Bebe is Cheryl Howard, returning to the role she originated in the original 1983 production, and Arbender Robinson (The Book of Mormon, Shuffle Along, In Transit) as Charles, the role originated by Brent Barrett.

What more can be said about a production that, since its opening three years ago, has already received the ultimate in honors and plaudits and for which the best adjectives have already been used? In its unique form as a history lesson, HAMILTON is a hymn to the revolutionary spirit and the insatiable desire to fulfill possibility.

Speaking of 'birds of a feather,' this musical is not so much about birds, as it is about drag queens. Think Robin Williams and Nathan Lane in 'The Birdcage,' add a fabulous Broadway score by Jerry Herman (of 'Hello, Dolly!' fame), a hilarious book by Harvey Fierstein ('Kinky Boots') and a few thousand feathers and sequins, and you have 'La Cage aux Folles,' the Tony-winning musical that too rarely gets a chance on stage these days!

 The Las Vegas Philharmonic is selling its popular Flex Passport for a second season.  The membership-based program offers customization and flexibility for patrons to decide which concert(s) they want to attend and with who at a later date.  The Flex Passport offers 6 seats to any of the Philharmonic's Reynolds Hall performances in the upcoming 2016?2017 season.  The seats can be redeemed all at once or broken into any configuration, using up to a maximum of 6 seats.
