Tonight's performance featured HAMILTON's Schuyler Sisters - Renee Goldsberry, Philippa Soo and Jasmine Cephas Jones - harmonizing to Alicia Keys' vintage hit 'Fallin'. Check it out below!

His inspirations for the new hip-hop musical range from everything from Jay-Z to Les Miz. Now, he just revealed in a recent tweet some of the musical references from songs in the show. When taking pen to paper to bring the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton to the stage, Lin-Manuel found inspiration in far off places - from GRAND THEFT AUTO's free-roaming firefights to hip-hop's best beats.

According to several reports on Twitter, Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, were spotted at Broadway's Hamilton tonight, July 27, just days after President Barack Obama gave the musical a rave review and continued to gush about it on THE DAILY SHOW. They were greeted by a standing ovation just before the performance.

The Broadway community was a-buzz last week with chatter about President Obama attending Saturday's matinee of HAMILTON. While the attendance of POTUS gave the cast enough reason to celebrate, they also marked the end of their first week of performances with the help of Hennessy.
