Verb Ballets returns to The Breen Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 8pm with a program inspired by fusion of culture and music. From songs of Home on the Range to a story about family relationships and the drums of Africa the works selected on this program explore the diversity of expression through music.

In Great Britain, the period between 1963 and 1966 was one of the most extraordinary moments of youth cultural history as well as in popular music history. MODROCK, with book by Hogan Thomas-Jones, directed by Brian Lohmann, produced by Tom Coleman with choreography by Michele Spears, is an homage to this period and to the many iconic bands and songwriters who emerged from it.

Opening Mixed Blood Theatre's 37th season is the winner of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for drama, NEXT TO NORMAL, described as 'a breathtaking rock production that reveals one family's struggle with mental illness.' Artistic Director Jack Reuler directs the powerhouse musical, which was also nominated for 11 Tony Awards. Next to Normal, with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, opens October 5 and runs through November 11 at Mixed Blood's historic firehouse theatre on the West Bank, 1501 S. Fourth St. in Minneapolis.

The 41st season of Monday Night Football will kick off on ESPN with a doubleheader Monday, September 13 - Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets (7 p.m. ET) and San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (10:15 p.m. / 9:15 p.m. CT) - and will continue with a total of 17 prime-time games.
