The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced the first four groups participating in the Center's new Community Stage program, a platform for student ensembles to perform at the Center.

The National Tour of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, welcomed Cory Jeacoma (Bob Gaudio) on September 15 in Syracuse, NY. He joins a company that includes Matthew Dailey (Tommy DeVito), Aaron De Jesus (Frankie Valli) and Keith Hines (Nick Massi) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella. JERSEY BOYS will return to the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN October 25-30.

Lantern Theater Company and the Fels Institute of Government will partner to host political economist Mark Blyth for George Bernard Shaw - Theater, Economics, and Social Justice on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 6 p.m. on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Presented in conjunction with the Lantern's current production of Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession, Blyth will explore the play's economic themes in this one-hour program moderated by Lantern Artistic Director Charles McMahon; an audience Q&A will follow. Members of the press are invited to attend. The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) welcomes Daveed Diggs, the breakout star and breakneck rapper who took home the 2016 Tony Award for his portrayals of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the Broadway blockbuster Hamilton, tonight, September 10 at 7 p.m.

The board of directors of the Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center (The Perelman Center) and President & Director Maggie Boepple today unveiled the design for the new performing arts center, located at the World Trade Center site.  Set to open in 2020, The Perelman Center will produce and premiere theater, dance, music, film, opera, and multidisciplinary works while offering a range of amenities for visitors and residents in the Lower Manhattan community.
