Former CRIMINAL MINDS staple Paget Brewster, who exited the series in 2012 after six years as Emily Prentiss, is set to return to the series for its upcoming 200th episode, according to Deadline.

CBS announced today that CRIMINAL MINDS has been renewed for the 2013-2014 broadcast season, becoming CBS's 20th series to be renewed for next year. Currently in its eighth season, CRIMINAL MINDS ranks as Wednesday's number one drama in viewers (12.24m), adults 18-49 (3.3/09) and adults 25-54 (4.3/10).

On CRIMINAL MINDS' upcoming episode, titled Alchemy, the BAU travel to Rapid City after two male victims are discovered murdered in a ritualistic manner. Also, Reid continues to grieve over Maeve's death, on Wednesday, May 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS. Series star Matthew Gray Gubler directs the episode.

Mark Moses is set to guest star on the ‘Criminal Minds' season premiere on September 21, according to TVline.com. Moses will play a senator leading a committee in charge of investigating a case that the BAU team messed up.
