CHERRY LANE THEATRE Announces 2009 Season

The Cherry Lane Theatre-Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director, James King, Managing Director-announces its 2009 Season, including all programs, productions and partnerships. As the oldest, continuously running Off-Broadway theatre, which has helped define American drama for more than 80 years the Cherry Lane will devote the season to expanding its Mentor Project, and its Discovery and Heritage Series.

Previews will begin today, Friday, November 14 at 8PM for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) New York premiere of PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY, a new play by two-time Tony Award nominee, Pulitzer Prize finalist and two-time Obie Award winner Craig Lucas (Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, The Light in the Piazza, Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, The Dying Gaul).
