According to TVLine.com, stage veteran Andy Mientus will join NEWSIES' Jeremy Jordan as a new series regular for the second season of SMASH. He'll play 'Kyle,' 'a poor kid from Brooklyn with dreams of writing for Broadway.'

Manhattan Theatre Club celebrates Artistic Director Lynne Meadow's 40th anniversary as the visionary and artistic leader of the organization with a special tribute tonight, June 18. Named for playwright Lillian Hellman, The Lilly Awards were created to recognize the extraordinary contributions made by women to the American Theater.
