How does a state contend with a barbarous ruler who is perceived to be appointed by God? King Richard II, portrayed by three-time OBIE Award winner Rocco Sisto, has designed the murder of his uncle, wasted public funds, and used the influence of his crown to misrule a nation. When Richard banishes Henry Bolingbroke (played by Tom O'Keefe, The Taster 2010), he unwittingly fashions an enemy who is intent on orchestrating the King's demise.

The play, which moves to HERE's Main Stage (145 Sixth Avenue - enter on Dominick) for an extended summer engagement opens Saturday, July 13th. Presented by Personal Space Theatrics, rogerandtom will continue for a limited run through Saturday, August 24th. The play is directed by Nicholas Cotz, the company's artistic director.
