STRIKING 12 Returns To New York This Holiday Season

The indie pop-rock band GrooveLily returns to New York City this holiday season for the first time in three years to spread some holiday warmth on cold winter nights, performing their critically acclaimed musical, STRIKING 12.

KATHLEEN TURNER Makes Her Ft. Lauderdale Stage Debut In HIGH

Two-time Golden Globe winner, Academy Award & Tony Award nominee Kathleen Turner will make her Fort Lauderdale stage debut in the National Tour of Matthew Lombardo's play HIGH, February 29-March 4, 2012 at The Parker Playhouse. Directed by Rob Ruggiero, HIGH also features Evan Jonigkeit as 'Cody Randall' and Timothy Altmeyer as 'Father Michael Delpapp'.

THE FALL TO EARTH Drops Into NYC at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will welcome InProximity Theatre Company with the New York City premiere of THE FALL TO EARTH, written by Joel Drake Johnson and directed by Joe Brancato.

Weinstein Company Greenlights FINDING NEVERLAND Musical Following Successful London Readings

The New York Times reports today that a FINDING NEVERLAND musical has been greenlighted by The Weinstein Company for further development following successful readings in London last week. The project was last workshopped in New York this past spring and was scheduled to premiere at the La Jolla playhouse this fall. The Weinstein's pulled the project at the last minute (which was replaced at La Jolla by the Startford Festival's Jesus Christ Superstar, currently running) to develop further. Tony Award winner Rob Ashford helms the project, which has Broadway apsirations. The project marks the first musical on which the Weinstein company is lead producer.

A true star in-the-making, Jordan opens up about carrying two major productions, where he finds his inspiration and how he has managed to remain true to himself.

SpeakEasy Stage To Present RED 1/6-2/4

From January 6 through February 4, 2012, SpeakEasy Stage will present the New England Premiere of the 2010 Tony Award-winning play RED by John Logan.

NEXT FALL Opens Repertory Philippines’ 75th Season, 1/13-2/5

Repertory Philippines (Rep.), the country's premier English-speaking theater company, is celebrating 45 years in business by opening its 75th season with New York University Tisch School of the Arts alumnus and playwright Geoffrey Nauffts' Broadway dramedy NEXT FALL, a moving story of a gay couple whose religious differences add tensions and contradictions to their five-year romantic relationship. Rep.'s staging of NEXT FALL runs from January 13 to February 5, 2012 at Onstage, Greenbelt 1, Makati City; evening performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and matinee performances are on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 p.m.
