TheatreWorks New Milford Hosts NYE Celebration 12/31

TheatreWorks New Milford invites their patrons to join them in ringing in 2012. The theater will offer cuisine, drinks, and a show on Saturday, December 31st.

Statement from TheatreWorks New Milford about the event: "Our New Year's Eve celebration has been a special part of the TheatreWorks season for over 15 years. What better way to celebrate the start of 2012 than with good food, good friends, and a great show – Present Laughter – starting at 7:15 PM on Saturday at the Theatre.

And don't forget, TheatreWorks is also offering a performance of Present Laughter on Friday, December 30th at our normal ticket price.

As for New Year's Eve, here's a taste the spectacular evening we have in store…

7:15 PM – Pre-Show
The evening begins with hors d'oeuvres,
along with wine, beer, soft drinks, and coffee.

Vegetable Crudités
Green Peppers, Red Peppers, Baby Carrots, Celery, Cucumbers, Green Beans Asparagus, Broccoli

Fruit Platter
Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Oranges,
Strawberries, Grapes, Pineapple

Cheese and Crackers
Muenster, Sharp Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Swiss

Olive Tampanade Spread
Summer Sausage and Pepperoni
Shrimp Cocktail
Pickle & Olive Tray
Warm Crab and Artichoke Dip
Swedish Meatballs

8:00 PM – ACT I of Present Laughter
The fun kicks into high gear with the performance of Act I of Noël Coward's delightful, fun and frothy comedy Present Laughter.

9:15 PM – Intermission
The extended Entr'acte is being catered by
Tivoli restaurant of New Milford.

The menu features:

Penne Pomodoro (vegetarian option)
penne with tomatoes, parmesan and herbs

Chicken Francese
egg battered chicken with lemon, white wine, and herbs

Rosemary Pork
sliced pork tenderloin seasoned with rosemary

Roasted Potatoes
Green Bean Almondine
Garden Green Salad
French Bread and Butter

10:00-10:15 PM – ACT II Begins
We watch the frenetic farcical action pick up as Present Laughter draws to a hilarious conclusion.

11:00-11:15 PM – Post-Show
After the entertainment we will all partake in dessert, coffee, tea, punch, and a champagne toast at Midnight!
