The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that Jill Garland has been named the new Senior Director of Development. Garland comes to The Public Theater with 15 years of experience as the Director of Development of Playwrights Horizons and most recently worked as the Vice President of Development at Nyack Hospital for the past two years.
The epic story of King Henry V's battle with the French during the Hundred Years' War comes alive for the first time at the Folger Theatre, in William Shakespeare's historical drama Henry V. The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), stars Zach Appelman (War Horse on Broadway) in his Folger Theatre debut as Henry V, and will run from tonight, January 22 - March 3, 2013.

From the tiny land of Who-Ville to the Jungle of Nool, Seuss's timeless tales leap from page to stage. Seussical first opened on Broadway in the fall of 2000. In 2004, it was reworked by Theatreworks USA, streamlining the story and retooling some of the songs and dialogue. The new version has enjoyed huge success across two US tours, a run in London's West End, and in children's theaters across the country, including NWCT, which previously produced the show in 2006.
